We spent a sunny day in the pretty Muiravonside Country Park, which we started by having an explore around the area we were in.

We then spent the morning helping to build a wind block made from cut down trees to protect some bee hives. It was quite hard work dragging the large branches down the hill!

After having lunch and hot chocolate we went for a walk along the aqueduct and admired some cracking views, before doing a bit of wildlife spotting in the woods. We found a badger set, which was quite cool.
Finally we played a quick game of hide and run and then we left the park, heading back to Edinburgh.
Overall, it was a fun, tiring and fulfilling day.
