We hope that the following will answer some of the questions you have about our various projects. If you have a particular question that we haven’t answered though, do please get in touch. We’re here to help.
How do I book onto a Green Volunteers or Green Angels project?
To book, please complete a booking form on the back of a programme or on the website. Please send along with a cheque made payable to The Green Team. We aim to confirm your booking by email within 10 days of receiving it.
I’ve been told the project is fully booked, how do I find out if I can go on the project?
If a project is fully booked you will be put on the waiting list. We will contact you as soon as a place becomes available so you should keep the date free. If you do not wish to be kept on the waiting list, please contact the Green Team to cancel your place.
Which Awards can I work towards with the Green Team?
Many of our participants are working towards Awards including Duke of Edinburgh (skill or volunteering sections) and the John Muir Award. Sometimes participants are working towards the Saltire Award, Youth Achievement Award or part of the International Baccalaureate.

Will I receive any further information prior to a project?
Yes, you will receive further information by email on the Monday evening before each project. It is therefore important that we have a working email address for you. This will give further details of what you will be doing, where you will be going, what to bring and emergency contact information.
I need to cancel a project, can I have a refund?
Yes, please let us know if you cannot make a project. We require at least 7 days notice of cancellation so that your place can be offered to someone on the waiting list.
