Today we went to Muiravonside to do some dry stone walling. We made a lot of progress as we fixed 2 out of 3 of the holes in the wall that was already there. I found out that finding the placement for all the stones was fairly easy but lifting them was physically demanding. The activity was fun and interesting.
Also on the day we did the storm kettles and made a good hot Chocolate. On the day I learned lots about how fun it is to do dry stone walling as each stone is unique and it requires lots of thought and creativity.
